Blood is Stool is a common and worrisome problem. The common causes for blood in stool are Piles/Haemorrhoids, Fissure, Fistula and Cancer. Altered bowel habits Constipation/Diarrhoea, weight loss, anaemia and Pain in abdomen are the Warning Symptoms of Cancer, Diverticulitis and Ulcerative Colitis.

Treatment depends upon the stage and health profile of the patient. Early stage colon cancer is treated by Surgery. Late stage may need Chemotherapy and Surgery.

Symptoms-
The usual symptoms are constipation, need to repose part with finger blood in stools and difficulty to control motion (Incontinence).
