Hiatal Hernia
Hiatal hernia is a protrusion of part of the stomach from the abdomen into the chest through the partition diaphragm hiatus (opening ) . This is an internal hernia not visible from outside like abdominal hernia.

Primary treatment in the initial stage is by lifestyle modifications, diet and favourbale posture during sleep. Hiatal hernia surgery is suggested for advanced grades, diasbling synptomatic and complicated by bleeding, dysphagia and perforation.Treatment may be nonsurgical or surgical depending upon the Symptoms and Grade of Hiatal Hernia. Laparoscopy hiatal hernia surgery is needed if no surgery measures fails.
